Travelling across Egypt is easy by road. There are many convoys available for people to travel to major attractions that are connected by roads like Abu Simbel to Aswan, and Aswan to Luxor. Take note that conveys do not stop for bathroom and food breaks, so be prepared. If there is a restroom stop use it because there aren’t many stops along the road.

Travelling in Desert

This is a completely different experience. Travelling in deserts is necessarily done on four-wheelers. There are no bathroom stops here, and the vehicle often needs to power up to climb over sand dunes at weird angles. Some people may get nauseous so you must carry some medicine, lemonade or water just in case. Just think of this as a long roller coaster ride.

Language and communication

You don’t have to speak Arabic to know Egyptian people. However, a few phrases here and there will sure to earn you some brownie points. Many Egyptians can speak English, so there is not much problem. However, even if they are not, some charades and sign language is sure to do the trick. Note of caution; learn Arabic numbers, so you know you are not being overcharged.

Attractions Egypt Holidays

Many Egypt vacations are centred on visiting Cairo. The city being the biggest in the country has other benefits too; it is just 15 miles away from the most popular destinations of Egypt – such as the Pyramids of Giza and the Sphinx. Historical monuments are of course famous and must be prioritized. Some of the spots include travelling to the river Nile and visiting Luxor and Valley of the Kings to name a few. Of course, there are many relaxing options like lounging on the beaches. The Red Sea is really the center of all beach activities in Egypt.

For the main course, many types of stews and Kosharis can be prepared with veggies.
